Nice little app. I love stats and numbers, and it's fun to peek at it every now and then. You've got nothing to lose by downloading it and seeing what keys you use each day, week, or month. I definitely didn't expect the spacebar to dominate so much ~145k presses compared to #2, the A key, at around 95k.

This is an excellent tool for those with shoulder, arm, hand issue to monitor their usage -- including mouse clicks and scrolling. I was astounded by the number of mouse clicks that I do -- even on a light work day.

Overall really nice program, I haven't noticed any resources being hogged by the program, and it's interesting to see the difference between the laptop I use for work and the PC I use for playing games.

As a school student, I have always wanted to know how many clicks I do, how many keys I use, etc. Whatpulse made it so fun to just to see my statistics over the past 2years. I especially love the heatmap, just to see those random keys never getting used in a month or some keys that are used over 100,000 times like W.

WhatPulse made my usage of the computer (which subsequently turned into my full time job as a developer) have more reason. Watching the interface and the stats grow and improve over the time has been such fun to see.

I used a free Windows app from 2015 to 2020 that only displayed key & mouse click totals, but then I found WhatPulse with its charted tracking, heatmap, etc... I've now been using WhatPulse since 2020 (Premium Subscription), and am very pleased. It's also good to know that they'll be around (subscription-based products tend to be supported long-term, versus free/other licensing models).

Having used WhatPulse for 7 years so far, I believe it to be an excellent indicator of how much I've come as a computer user (both Mac and Windows). Tracking my day-to-day computer use tells me when my hardware is slacking off, or when I am slacking off. It is one of the best productivity tools I have ever used, especially when it comes to holding myself accountable for how I spend my days.

Just a "must have". It is top for the geek who wants to know how frenetic he is on the keyboard, to compare with friends. But also for "normal people" to spot the most productive hours of the day.

To resume... I think that you can live without whatpulse but like you can live without remote control on your TV set. It's much better with it !!!!

In addition to allowing me to assign a number to slacking off, WhatPulse has convinced me to play video games with a keyboard even if it's a detriment. Nothing stops the insatiable craving for more keys.

I am someone who just really loves numbers and statistics. And at least on Windows there is just no competition. WhatPulse is really the best and most detailed software you can get for this purpose. Thats why I decided after several months of using it to renew my subscription and switch auto-renewal on. Really looking forward to how you continue to expand WhatPulse in the future.

It lets my inner geek run free. How many times did I press the letter H this year?

R

It's made by nerds who want to count things.

I am a huge statistics nerd, I like using the keyboard and click heat maps to track my programming, writing and gaming habits. Uptime statistics lets me see how I spend my time and I like to look at which applications are my biggest time sinks.

WhatPulse does what it's supposed to do and does it reliably. The information is presented intuitively and has given me lots of insight into my habits.

I don't know a better app than WhatPulse that can measure all stats like my keyboard or mouse usage and show them in nice heatmaps and lists.

I love that this app is free, supported so many years, so versatile and multi-platform. I would recommend it to anyone who loves to see statistics about anything in their computer. There is no such better app.

The security of WhatPulse is impressive! I've had WhatPulse on my computer for over 10 years and have had no security breaches or any compromised passwords.

In hopes of improving my typing speed, being able to see whether I use the backspace button too much or which letters I use the most has been very helpful and all in all just cool to see!

I personally LOVE the Keyboard Heatmap, the application input/uptime tracker, and the on screen widget. I use them mostly for productivity metrics at work. I target more than 25K keys per day as a productivity goal.

It's awesome to see how much traffic and usage happened over the years, how much the keyboard and mouse suffered.

There are so many good things about WhatPulse, but the best would be the fact that it's very minimalistic and it's almost like it's not there while it's doing all of that work. Fantastic.

WhatPulse gives me insight into what I'm spending the most time on throughout the day. This has allowed me to streamline some things and automate tasks that I saw were taking me more time than I had imagined.
